What exactly is inside?
24 lures, one behind each door. The maker itemises them as 4 spoons, 2 VIB blades, 3 crankbaits, 8 soft plastics, 2 spinners, 1 popper and 4 minnows. The soft plastics are 2 frogs, 4 shrimp, a curly-tail grub and a paddle-tail.
Are they real, fishable lures?
Yes. The hard baits come with treble hooks, and the maker shows 3D eyes and barbed hooks in close-up. The grub and paddle-tail come as soft bodies, without a hook, in the maker's photo.
What size are the hooks?
The maker doesn't publish hook sizes, so we won't guess. Lure lengths and weights that the maker does list are in the specs above.
What kind of fishing is it for?
The maker describes it as freshwater and light inshore lures for all skill levels. There's a topwater popper, shallow cranks, minnows, spoons, blades and soft plastics.
Is it safe for kids?
Treat it as fishing tackle. The hooks are sharp and barbed, and the box carries its own warning. It's fine for a young angler who already handles hooks with an adult, but it isn't a children's calendar.
